The day your braces are fitted we will ask you to clean your teeth using a disclosing tablet so we can see that they are perfectly clean before the braces are fitted. You will see a couple of quick movies in our Aquarium to show you how to look after your braces and oral hygiene instructions. One of our staff members will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
You will choose a DVD to watch while your braces are fitted. The TV screen is on the ceiling above the chair so you can watch it comfortably. We have a wide selection of DVD's but you can bring your own.
Before you go home, we'll ask if you have any questions and give you an Orthodontic Pack to take away with you. This has all the things you will need to keep your braces nice and clean
It takes less than an hour to have braces put on and doesn't hurt.
Regular Visits
Once your braces are fitted we will need to see you regularly for visits to check your progress. These visits are short. Only about 15 minutes. Your wire will be checked and changed as necessary. We will also check that you are keeping your braces & teeth clean and give guidance if necessary.
